Our developers spend a lot of time answering the same questions because our user guides are not very clear. We know the product well, but explaining it to someone new is a different skill. I am considering outsourced technical writing to help us catch up. Before doing anything, I wanted to hear from people who have tried outsourcing. Did it save your team time, or did explaining the product to the writer become another big job?
